Jan. 2023 — Daiya Foods, a consumer-packaged goods company and leading developer of plant-based dairy food products, has selected Alchemy’s Applied Sciences Platform to support its research and development operations. Based in Canada, Daiya operates throughout North America and parts of Europe.
Due to the complexities of food research and development, Daiya needed an extremely flexible solution. Daiya ultimately chose Alchemy because its powerful, no-code ELN and LIMS solution proved more effective at digitizing food-specific specialized formulations and testing than any other solution they evaluated.
Furthermore, Alchemy’s solution is built on a sound data framework that deliberately collects data with a standardized structure to ensure Daiya’s dataset is ready to take full advantage of artificial intelligence.
“Working with Alchemy will afford us the time we need to focus on bringing the best plant-based cheese products to market. Their platform is incredibly flexible and can be molded to our unique needs – we’re excited to be partnering with them,” said Anna Ayvazov, R&D Lab Supervisor at Daiya.
For Alchemy, Daiya’s market leadership, combined with its longstanding record of product innovation, made the partnership an easy decision.
“We at Alchemy are absolutely delighted to partner with Daiya as they continue their groundbreaking work on the cutting edge of plant-based dairy development,” said Sasha Novakovich, Alchemy CEO.
“Simply put, Daiya’s products are the future, and we are grateful for the opportunity to support them in their continued success.”
