Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Enterprise Account Executive to drive sales for our industry-specific cloud software in the $1 trillion specialty chemicals market. Our Digital Transformation Software Suite includes everything specialty chemicals companies need to accelerate innovation and streamline the commercialization of their formulas. Our solution includes Digital Workflow Automation, Digital Lab Notebook, CRM, and ISO Compliance, all built on the most configurable workflow engine in the industry. As an Enterprise Account Executive, you will be responsible for developing qualified opportunities, winning new business, growing your accounts, and managing relationships with your customers. Creativity, energy and the ability to work effectively within a growing team are critical.


  • Understand and present Alchemy products and inspire prospect interest
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders across the business, IT, and C level
  • Identify and grow sales opportunities within assigned territory
  • Meet/exceed pipeline generation and revenue targets
  • Manage complex sales cycles, utilizing internal and external resources as appropriate
  • Be willing to travel


  • Chemistry degree
  • Strong understanding of R&D, product development and/or technical service workflows, current challenges, and opportunities for improvement in the specialty chemicals industry
  • Direct relationships at specialty chemicals accounts
  • 5+ years experience selling into specialty chemicals companies or selling enterprise software and related services into complex environments
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas
  • Strategic account planning and execution skills
  • Must be highly self-motivated and able to work with little direct supervision
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

Nice to have

  • 2+ years experience selling SaaS solutions
  • Experience working successfully in a rapidly changing environment
