Job Summary

Alchemy is looking for a bright, curious content marketer to help develop a regular multi-channel cadence of content for a variety of audiences and formats. This role will report to the Head of Demand Generation and support Alchemy’s overall brand strategy and product positioning, spanning strategic content creation and product marketing. They will join a tightly coordinated Go-to-Market team that is working together to establish Alchemy as both a thought leader and commercial contender in new market segments while driving increased sales volume and velocity. This position offers a unique opportunity to play a critical role in Alchemy’s success as it continues to grow 3x year over  year. 

The ideal candidate appreciates the role science has in how today’s world functions. Curious and organized, they will bring a strategic perspective to their content production and keep a constant eye out for ways to efficiently scale that production and help the company ‘punch above its weight.’ They have a gift for writing and storytelling across a variety of media and are eager to use that gift to communicate the value of Alchemy to prospects, customers, and the market at large.

Responsibilities

  • Own content creation for the corporate marketing site and other external digital properties
  • Hone and execute Alchemy’s SEO strategy
  • Develop multi-channel content strategy for the development of digital and print collateral, customer success stories, short- and long-form thought leadership, contributed articles, industry presentations and speaking engagement collateral
  • Underpin marketing efforts with content that can be used programmatically to create demand, working closely with the Head of Demand Generation
  • Accelerate sales with high-quality content for every stage of the sales process, working closely with key Sales, Product and Customer Success team members
  • Develop intimate knowledge of Alchemy’s platform and capabilities and how they relate to customer needs
  • Support company and product messaging
  • Develop a deep understanding of Alchemy’s buyer and customer journey
  • Gather and collateralize customer success stories
  • Work collaboratively with Alchemy Sales, Product, Customer Success and Technology teams as appropriate to successfully drive marketing activities

Requirements

  • 3-5 years experience content and/or product marketing vertical software or SaaS
  • Excellent writer and storyteller
  • Experience developing and executing an SEO strategy
  • Comfortable operating within an account-based marketing framework
  • Experience marketing multiple products under the same brand
  • Have preferred software tools and processes for creating, collaborating on, and organizing/storing content
  • Experience operating within marketing automation platforms and Webflow or another CMS
  • Self-motivated and an exceptional collaborator with design, sales, product and technology team members
  • Curious, loves learning and has a bias for action
  • Bonus - academic background in chemistry, chemical engineering, biology, material science, health science or any applied science
